The Molong Show Society at a general committee meeting on 6 July accepted the reality that they cannot run a successful Show in 2020 and reluctantly made a decision to cancel this year’s Annual Show.
The Society had held off making a decision for as long as possible to wait out further easement of restrictions.
However, given current circumstances the Society feels that they do not have enough volunteers to ensure adherence of the Covid19 guidelines and do not want to put vulnerable volunteers and community members at risk.
In a statement the society expressed gratitude to Cabonne Council and local businesses for continuous support for our proposed 2020 Show.
“We will endeavour to make our 157th Year of the Molong Annual Show bigger and better on Sunday 19th September 2021”, the Society
