Molong coming alive again

Molong coming alive again
“Welcome to Molong and Cabonne” said popular Molong resident, Pam Mann (photo above left) as she was introduced to the Clarke family (Rachel, Wade, Dax and Mason) who recently purchased property on the Cumnock Road.

“We’re looking forward to moving to the area” said Rachel Thank-you to loyal Molong resident, Pam who took the time to talk to the family about what Molong, Cumnock and Cabonne Country have to offer. Notice the new faces in your town? It’s happening!

The good news is that local businesses are slowly returning to improved trading as life returns to ‘near normal’ across Cabonne Country – the Orange region, Parkes, Forbes.

When going to print – the Express was waiting on information to come from NSW Health about other areas still in lockdown who are usually keen visitors to Molong and Cabonne Country towns and villages, (namely, Bathurst, Dubbo, Wellington, Hunter Valley, those travelling on the Mitchell Highway from Brisbane and North Coast, South Coast to North Coast, and of course Sydney, Blue Mountains and Canberra). We hope to see their return – soon.

Last weekend there was a noticeable feel of Spring … and new beginnings in Molong as residents came back to Bank Street and Gidley Street to greet and meet … and spend time back in their friendly, sunny community “meeting place”.
Welcome back! And, to new residents and returnig visitors – ‘we warmly welcome you’.
